These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of veneersco.com (the "site"), operated by Veneers & Co. Dental Group, the dental practice of Faraz Farahnik Inc., APC, 16260 Ventura Blvd, Suite 730, Encino, CA 91436, (818) 658-9285 ("we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices explain how we handle information.

1. In an emergency, call 911

If you have facial swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, a serious injury or a high fever, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room now. For a dental emergency, call (818) 658-9285. Don't use email for anything urgent; it isn't monitored at all hours.

2. Educational content, not dental advice

The site gives general information about dental care and our services. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation and not a substitute for an examination. Every mouth is different, and only an in-person exam can tell you which options suit you. Schedule an exam for advice about your situation. Dental knowledge changes over time. Don't delay or ignore professional advice because of something you read here.

3. No dentist-patient relationship from using the site

Using the site does not make you our patient or create a dentist-patient relationship. That includes reading pages or calling us with a question. A dentist-patient relationship begins only when we accept you as a patient and you have an examination with one of our dentists. Until then, nothing on the site is a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

4. Forms, messages and photo uploads

The site does not currently offer online forms, photo upload or online scheduling. Requests are made by phone at (818) 658-9285 or in person.
Please don't send health details or photos by ordinary email.
We will not use photos of you for marketing unless you separately sign a written authorization.
We will update these Terms before adding any online form, upload or scheduling feature.

5. Before-and-after photos and results

Before-and-after photos on the site show actual patients who gave written authorization. Each one lists the procedures performed. Individual results vary; the same results may not occur for all patients. Your results depend on your teeth, gums, bite, health, habits and care after treatment. Photos are not retouched. Before and after images receive only the same cropping, sizing and color adjustment. Nothing on the site promises a particular result.

6. Prices, insurance and financing

The site does not list fees. You'll receive a written treatment plan and fee after your exam. Accepting an insurance plan does not mean your plan will cover a particular treatment, or tell you how much it will pay; coverage depends on your plan. Financing is offered by independent companies (CareCredit, Cherry and Sunbit) under their own terms, credit decisions and privacy policies. Applying is between you and the lender. Ask us about in-house financing; any in-house arrangement is made only in a separate written agreement.

7. Virtual consultations (telehealth)

What they are. A virtual consultation is a video conversation about your goals, concerns and options. It is not a dental examination. A diagnosis and a final treatment plan require an in-person exam at our Encino office.
Consent first. Before your first video visit, we will explain how telehealth works, including its limits, and ask for your consent. We document it, as California law requires (Business and Professions Code §2290.5). You can always choose an in-person visit instead.
Platform. Video visits are not currently offered through the site. If they are offered later, they will use a platform whose provider has signed a business associate agreement with us to protect health information.
Where you are located. Dental licenses are issued by each state and country. Our dentists are licensed in California. We will ask where you are located when you book and again at the start of the call. If you are outside California during the call, the visit is limited to general education about treatment options, what to expect, and planning a visit to Encino. We will not diagnose, give an individualized treatment plan or prescribe anything to someone located outside California.
Technology. Connections can fail or be interrupted. If that happens, we'll try to reconnect, or call you back at the number you gave us.

8. Patients who travel to see us

Patients travel from across the country and around the world. If you're coming from out of town, we'll explain what can be planned ahead and what must wait for your in-person exam. Treatment is provided at our Encino office. Follow-up care may need visits to Encino or to a dentist near your home. We can't promise that a dentist elsewhere will continue or adjust our treatment.

9. Intellectual property and third-party trademarks

The site's text, design, graphics, logos and photos belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, republish, frame, scrape or create derivative works from the site without our written permission. Patient photos may never be reused.
Brand names of products and treatments belong to their owners: Invisalign® is a trademark of Align Technology, Inc.; Lumineers® is a trademark of DenMat Holdings, LLC; All-on-4® is a trademark of Nobel Biocare Services AG; CareCredit is a trademark of Synchrony Bank; Cherry and Sunbit are trademarks of their respective owners. We mention these names only to identify products or services. Unless a page says otherwise, we are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by these companies. "All-on-X" describes full-arch implant treatment in general and is not a reference to any one company's protocol.

10. Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as lenders' application pages, social media, maps and news articles. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

11. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site. For example, don't:

send false information or impersonate someone
upload malicious code
try to get into areas or systems you're not authorized to use
overload the site
use automated tools to collect its content in ways that interfere with it
use the site for anything unlawful

12. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always current, and we disclaim implied warranties for the site. This section concerns the website only. It does not limit any right you have regarding dental care you receive from us, which is governed by the standards of care and the law that apply to that care.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for professional dental services, fraud, willful injury, gross negligence or violation of law, or anything else that California law (including Civil Code §1668) does not allow us to limit.

14. Accessibility

We want the site to be usable by everyone. If any part of it is hard for you to use, call (818) 658-9285 and we'll help you get the information or service another way. See our Accessibility statement.

15. Governing law

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the website will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes are noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
