Accessibility Statement for Veneers & Co. Dental Group
In brief
Tell us about any barrier on our site or in our office.
Our accessibility statement explains how we make veneersco.com and our Los Angeles office easier for everyone to use. Veneers & Co. Dental Group aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. If anything on this site is hard to use, call (818) 658-9285. We'll help you and work to fix it.
Accessibility
What standard does this website follow?
Veneers & Co. Dental Group designs and tests veneersco.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The World Wide Web Consortium publishes these guidelines.
Accessibility
What have we done to make the site accessible?
We build the site to work with a keyboard, a screen reader or screen magnification, and on phones as well as computers.
- Keyboard access: you can reach and use every link, button and form field without a mouse, with a visible focus outline.
- Readable text: color contrast meets WCAG AA, and you can enlarge text to 200% without losing content.
- Images: meaningful images have text descriptions. Screen readers skip decorative images.
- Video: any video we add will have captions and a transcript, and nothing will play sound automatically.
- Forms: each field has a visible label, and error messages use text, not color alone.
- Motion: we keep animations to a minimum, and they respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Structure: pages use clear headings and landmarks so assistive technology can move through them.
- Languages: our pages are in English. If we add pages in another language, we'll mark the language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Phone first: our phone number is a tap-to-call link on every page, for anyone who would rather talk than type.
We'll keep adding accessibility features as the site grows.
Accessibility
How do we check accessibility?
We test every version of the site automatically before publishing it.
The automated checks use axe-core and Lighthouse accessibility audits on phone and desktop layouts. We don't publish a page that fails them.
Accessibility
Are there known limitations?
This accessibility statement lists known problems here, with what we're doing about them. We tested this site with automated accessibility checks (axe and Lighthouse) at launch and found no known issues. If you have trouble using any part of the site, please call (818) 658-9285 and we will help.
Some features come from other companies, such as financing applications on each lender's website, appointment tools and maps. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we don't control their pages. If one of them gives you trouble, call us and we'll help another way.
